For a list of references, please contact us using the feedback form.  We survey all of our students for program improvement ideas and, as a part of that, invite them to become references.  Only those students who explicitly agree to be contacted by prospective students are contacted.

For an even better reference approach, if you are an Atlanta, Dallas, Boston, Philadelphia or NJ area job seeker, ask around at any networking event and the chances are you will find someone who has attended our program or who knows someone who has.

"...I am now a Quality Engineer at Engineered Fabrics Corporation in Rockmart GA. I was hired to work on the CH53K heavy lift helicopter program with Sikorsky Aircraft. My current lean project is with the blade ice mitigation systems for the V22 Osprey. Your course helped me land this job."

Jim Smith, Value-Train Six Sigma Green Belt graduate, Atlanta, GA

"I recently attended a Value-Train QPI seminar in Second Life and it was definitely one of the best seminars I have ever attended. My background is in economics and engineering, and I found the session jam-packed with useful information.  I also found that the instructor was willing and able to answer in-depth questions with aplomb.  He was able to tailor his answer to the education and sophistication level of the questioner as well as rephrasing both the question and the answer so that a broader audience understood both the question and the answer.   This was, undoubtedly, a remarkable seminar that I urge all who are interested in quality management and monitoring to attend.!"

Ralph Shnelvar, Value-Train QPI Seminar attendee, Second Life, World

"Just wanted to take this opportunity to say thanks for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of your class.  Initially, I thought I made the wrong decision, because I felt I was not absorbing the information fast enough...but after speaking with Mike, I decided to stay and I'd like to take this opportunity to really "thank him" for understanding, and taking the time out to address my fears /concerns.  You've got a couple of great instructors!"

Debbie Drayden, Value-Train PMP Exam Review graduate, Atlanta, GA

"Thanks again for letting me make up my missing hours by re-taking the last day of the course.  It was great!!

Lilas Pratt, Value-Train PMP Exam Review graduate, Atlanta, GA

"I just came from a job interview that I believe came about partly because I had six sigma training listed on my resume. The COO is an old TQM guy who respects the six sigma practices. Thanks again for your help."

"Thanks for your help. I currently work for a BPO company that outsources Accounting, Medical, Insurances and other Transactional Processes. Thanks to Value Train, I use my Six Sigma Green Belt training to re-design and show efficiencies that can be implemented to these processes. It has been successful not only for me, but the clients have benefited greatly from these improvements. Those I work with across the globe already are proficient in Six Sigma and Lean. It is easy to communicate and show these efficiencies as they understand the methodology used and we can work toward a joint solution. I am interested in continuing my education with Value Train for Lean and my Black Belt, once I can bring 2 people aboard with this posting and slow down from my travel schedule. Thanks again to you and Value Train! I will keep you posted."

Peter Iras, Value-Train Six Sigma Green Belt graduate, New Jersey

"Thanks again for the delightful manner in which you taught your course and for offering a realistic take on six sigma."

"I applaud your effort to "spread the word" about SPC, Bill - - we very badly need it in our business and our society, and you are spreading the gospel at prices that don't gouge the student...THANK YOU!!! "

Bill Caruso, Value-Train Six Sigma Green Belt graduate, Dallas

"Hey Bill.... I had to write and say thank you for your Green Belt class and support..... When I took it as an undergraduate I was not too sure how valuable it will be but I have just finished interviewing and received a job offer for a Six Sigma role with a growing organization. Bill this position would not have been possible without your class.... Every interview I have had has made an offer because of my Green Belt........ It is very rare that an undergrad would get such a position.... Your class truly pays of....... If I had to I would do it again. Thanks again"

Evans Kariuki, Value-Train Six Sigma Green Belt graduate, Tennessee

"... Thanks for doing this Bill.  I thought I was sitting in just to see what my co-workers were exposed to but I learned more about the concepts of Six Sigma in these three days than in the three weeks of training I took from those other guys!"

"You are a terrific teacher.  I really enjoyed the course and am very excited about everything I learned."

Sue Baust, Massachusetts

" Been really busy interviewing. I believe I'm going to be going to Arizona for a Sr. Quality Engineer position.  The fact that I took my Green Belt only a year ago, even though I've been out of the field for 3 years, REALLY helped...Thanks for coming to Dallas for your classes."

Marcella Entwisle, Sr. Quality Engineer, Texas

"I was offered a significant opportunity as a direct result of taking your Six Sigma course and being part of the Value Train network, which makes the ROI on the money I spent with Value Train a number that’s off the charts !

Jim Carty, President, IS Value Corporation, PA

"I want to thank you again for the wonderful class you offered. I learned statistics multi-times before, but the only purpose was to get a good score and pass the class.  I never thought it could be so powerful!

Laboratory Manager and Value-Train Six Sigma Green Belt graduate, Atlanta

"Tell your students that yes, the banks definitely want Six Sigma folks!  My PMP and Six Sigma Green Belt qualified me for this position in the first place.  Tell those looking for a job, networking and skill augmentation is what it's all about, and they should never lose hope!  I was one of the 1% who found a job through the internet...a recruiter here found my resume on Monster."

Dave Shearer, Value-Train Six Sigma Green Belt graduate, Charlotte

"Thank you, it was one of the best class room experiences I had for a course of this nature. You are a wonderful instructor, and I give you a lot of credit for keeping the class focused even with student asking questions and getting engaged into discussion at times.  You knew when to engage in discussion and when to cut it off. "

Ranjit Biswas, Value-Train Six Sigma Green Belt graduate, Boston

"I have just accepted a job offer from a large medical technology company here in New Jersey, to work on their end-to-end IT service delivery process. A key component of my responsibilities there will be to tie the service delivery to a Six Sigma framework the company is implementing for all their units. I am glad I took your Six Sigma Green Belt training and certification class, and I am sure I will be able to put it to good use! As a certified Green Belt, I am ahead of many in the company who still have to go through this training as part of the internal company roll-out. Thanks for making your classes available locally here in the NJ/NY area, and for always being available for discussions of specific aspects of Six Sigma even long after the classes ended."

Gerhard Buhler, , Value-Train Six Sigma Green Belt graduate, NJ/NY

"I do want you to know I really enjoyed the class. Additionally, the certification not only helped me get to Round #2 of an interview, I just accepted a new position with a major consumer product company  as their Senior Manager of Business Operations & Financial Administration! I was one of over 100 resumes they received and the course deserves credit for my being chosen for an interview for the position. I have begun spreading the gospel of Six Sigma to several networking groups and hopefully you will see some of these members signing up for your next visit to our state."

"Just wanted to say that I landed a position this week.  I accepted a position two weeks ago!  It is working for a contracting firm.  I will be a system engineer doing requirements definition for Lockheed Martin.  One reason I believe is because of the Six-Sigma Greenbelt training here in Dallas.  Two of the interviewers asked and had a comment about this.  Don't know when I'll have to put in action.  Just started so am getting immersed in the job details.   Thanks for the regular info sent to the group.

Wayne Johnson, Value-Train Six Sigma Green Belt graduate, Dallas

"It's been awhile since my last email to you! I just want to say thanks for the green belt class. As a result of that class, the certification help me land an opportunity at Merrill Lynch in their Data Management Services group. The supervisor that I will be working for is also a six sigma certified person herself. She saw the six sigma certification on my resume and wanted to talk to me on an opportunity in her department. I got the opportunity. That is GREAT NEWS !!!"

"One of the deciding factors of being accepted for this project was my green belt certificate. During the final interview on the phone with the business development director, he commented that my Six Sigma training was important to the planning.  Looks like my investment to become Six Sigma certified paid off."

David Franklin, Value-Train Six Sigma Green Belt graduate, Atlanta

"Green Belt Certification was a factor in landing my new position as a National Account Manager selling products into the home improvement industry. As a sales person my first thought was that being Six Sigma Certified would be of no value. As I further considered the opportunity to become certified, I came to the conclusion that by better understanding how small changes that are made in the daily business processes impact costs and delivery of products, the better I can serve my customers.  For me, it was well worth the investment in time and money."

Randal Kirkpatrick, Value-Train Six Sigma Green Belt graduate, Atlanta

"I went to work today! A key component of the bank's interest in me was that I knew what DMAIC stood for. If you do not know what that acronym means, then this is a shameless plug. Go to www.value-train.com and contact my good friend Bill Bentley and get yourself Six Sigma certified. Never mind your age, your background, your profession, just do it! It is like getting a flu shot: not very expensive, doesn't take very long, cannot hurt you, and even might do you some good down the road! I went to work today because I was a certified Six Sigma Green Belt! Thank you Bill Bentley for creating Value-Train and for reaching out to serve others. It takes someone who has truly "Been there, done that" to create a business out of a personal need."

Calvin Johnson, Value-Train Six Sigma Green Belt graduate, Atlanta

"Just to let you know that the Green Belt Certification class helped me out tremendously.  Because I had Six Sigma on my resume I was able to garner interviews with 2 different companies.  One interview was for an IT director of operations and the other was for a contract opportunity at Bank of America.  ...  The reason I was brought in was due to the PMP and Six Sigma credentials.   Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that your course certainly helped me land this opportunity.  I feel as the IT Director position comes to fruition I stand a good chance of being looked at again."
